The CNT in Iruñea continues to expand its union model across companies in Navarre. On this occasion, we are taking a further step forward with the establishment of a union branch at Laket Bio, thereby strengthening the presence of anarcho-syndicalism within the region’s labour landscape.
This new development is no coincidence: it responds to the growing need for real organisational tools, based on the direct participation of the workforce. In contrast to the works council model, which delegates decision-making and limits workers’ capacity for action, the CNT advocates for an assembly-based, horizontal and militant form of trade unionism.
Our model is based on direct action and workers’ autonomy, without intermediaries or bureaucratic structures. The union branch at Laket Bio was established with the aim of defending labour rights through collective involvement, creating spaces where every person has a voice and decision-making power.
